Stories

We measure our success by the number of children we have actually been able to give a chance. These stories show that it is really possible to bring about sustainable change by joining forces.

Featured story

Oliver

At the age of four, Oliver lost both his parents in a car accident. Oliver was also in the car. Although he came out of the accident unscathed, he was emotionally devastated. With the help of DoGood, Oliver started exercising very intensively. Sport will not take away the pain of losing his parents, but he has been able to regain his zest for life and joy.

Daniella

Daniella was the sixth of nine children and her parents didn't have much time. That's why they didn't notice the warning signs associated with Daniella's school performance. Fortunately, a social worker noticed that Daniella's grades were getting lower and she realized that Daniella was having trouble reading and writing. Daniella now gets the extra help she needs to excel in school and in life.

SOPHIA

Raising a non-communicating child with autism can be extremely difficult, especially without help. DoGood put Sophia in touch with a nonprofit in her area that provides regular assistance to families with autistic children and offers special activity programs in the afternoons and weekends so kids can have fun and parents can relax.
